Jeska was formed in the fall of 2003, after some of the musicians found themselves working in other groups together. The overlaps between players on these different projects/recordings led to a few crucial jams with members of the current group. Of course, the McGill Big Band I had a little to do with the Group's formation, as all of Jeska also plays in that ensemble. Soon, talk of various local shows and a Spring 2004 West Coast Tour began circulating, and pieces of the puzzle began falling in place.

The Group showcases original compositions by all members, and hopes to share its vision with audiences across the country. Be sure to catch Jeska at a venue near you.
